Slaninijada or festival of bacon is a traditional festival to all lovers of bacon and other meat products. Slaninijada will be held in Kacarevo. Kacarevo is a town in northern Serbia, situated in the municipality of Pancevo in the South Banat District.
In addition to various competitions, the festival includes exhibition and tasting of old, forgotten dishes. Creativity review of national minorities in Vojvodina and demonstrations of cookery skills and ethno folklore are unavoidable part of this event.
